Venus Williams Helps Finish Fed Cup Shutout of Belarus

WORCESTER, Mass. - The doubles match that ended the Fed Cup tie between the United States and Belarus should have been the most irrelevant match of the day. It was the fifth contest in a best-of-five matchup that the United States team led by 4-0.

But it featured the return of Venus Williams to her first competitive match since she announced she had Sjogren's Syndrome, an autoimmune disease, during the United States Open last August.
