Demi Moore undergoing treatment after 911 emergency

Paris Guardian (ANI) Sunday 5th February, 2012

Demi Moore, who has not been spotted since her recent health crisis, is reportedly in a treatment facility and not at her Los Angeles home, as was speculated.

She is said to have checked into Cirque Lodge in Utah the week after her hospitalisation on January 23.

"She's on total lockdown and only talking to a small group of people," People.com quoted a source as telling E!.

The source also added that Moore is being treated for addiction and an eating disorder.

A 911 call from the night she was hospitalised revealed that the actress had smoked a substance "similar to incense" and was "convulsing", according to the female caller. Paramedics who responded assessed Moore and took her to the hospital.

The 49-year-old actress, who underwent rehab for drug and alcohol abuse in the mid-80s, has been going through a rough time lately.

In November, she split from her husband, Ashton Kutcher. But even before that her friends were worried.

"Really, it was over the last year her friends saw a change... She wasn't sleeping as well, didn't seem to be eating and looked really gaunt," a source said.

On Friday, Moore's youngest daughter Tallulah celebrated her 18th birthday at her father Bruce Willis's Beverly Hills home along with her sister, Rumer. (ANI)
